tBeacon Target board — flagship component for radio detection in high-interference conditions
Introducing the tBeacon Target, a next-generation self-contained radio-detection board designed for civil aviation modeling, sports and agriculture. Its main advantage is stable operation where mobile communication is weak and there is a critical level of third-party radio interference.
Why is the tBeacon Target board the standard for reliability?
- LoRa technology – provides a record signal reception distance of up to 10 km (and significantly more if the receiving antenna is raised or a relay is used);
- Noise immunity — the use of FHSS technology (pseudo-random hopping) minimizes the impact of dense electromagnetic noise, and the addressable digital protocol and unique ID ensure that the location coordinates will be recognized exclusively by your tBeacon Target Base baseboard;
- Power autonomy – its own GPS navigation circuit and the addition of an autonomous Li-Po power supply (500 mAh) via an interface connector allow the board to operate independently of the aircraft’s general on-board network for up to 7 days in standby mode.
Technical features
- Board weight — 7 g (ultralight mounting on any frame or fuselage of a civilian model);
- Regular startup – activation of the board functions occurs automatically when the interface cable is connected or power is supplied to the circuit;
- Android ecosystem — full configuration of parameters, standalone offline maps and support for standard NMEA/Google Maps navigation formats via the proprietary application;
- Ready-to-Connect — boards come with up-to-date service firmware and are ready to work without additional complex programming.
For final monitoring of the location in open terrain, the board is equipped with a bright LED and a loud buzzer.
tBeacon Target is your final frontier for determining the exact coordinates of a plane where other means have proven powerless.
